that's what we've been around here, well, minus the beach. summer is in full swing. spending the weekends being lazy, lounging around the pool, bike riding, hanging with family. and getting weird sunburns, but that's just me.

speaking of beach bums, that's the newest kit over at ScrapinStyle…I got it last week and it has this yummo huge piece of felt and a big old felt turqoise rope thingy…immediately thought banner. So here are a few pics, this sucker was difficult to photograph but man it was fun to make.  

and look at this little cutie patootie…pretty sure she was in full temper mode when i snapped this.

and finally, in 4 days i will be in Tennesee for Sisaversary! I absolutely can not wait. So many people i can't wait to meet, we're gonna have the best time ever. Karaoke and ice cream till 1 am, LOTS of scrapping, filiming my first ever weisode….the next 4 days are gonna be loooooooooooong.

just sharing some photos….few scrappy pages, used the Syle Phyle from SIS for the Picture This page, I seriously love love love this kit, and I don’t just say that because I’m a Fashionista. Something about getting it’s random and non traditional scrappiness in the mail just makes me want to create. best time ever making the Little page, love the cardboard and those new Sassafrass papers might be the best thing since 7Gypsies.

It really drives me crazy that I can’t copy and paste into Typepad without my font going all wonky.

For those of you (read, my family) that don’t know, today is National Scrapbooking Day. It’s a pretty big deal for us scrapbookers.

We’re having a HUGE party over at SIS with tons of challenges and prizes and giveaways, come on over!

I hosted a Why I Rock challenge, basically all about being positive and focusing on the good things about ourselves instead of the negative for a change, and then scrapping it. (run on sentence, i know) There’s still time if you’d like to participate, it’s open till tomorrow at noon CST. And here’s the page I made for the challenge.

In honor of NSD, I made a video of my ridiculously messy scraproom. Take a looky loo, but you’ve been warned, it is REAL messy.

Of the upcoming Off The Runway collection at SIS. It’s called the Hipster, and it rocks my world. Stamps, my friends. Pink Paislee stamps. That’s all I have to say.

I’ve had a lot on my mind this week about how we open ourselves up on the WWW for all to see…my journaling talks about that. it reads:
