I didn't even realize until I started making this page for Prima that this is IT. It is the ONLY photo I have of all 4 generations; my Mom passed away just 5 months after it was taken. And that's really inexcusable because we all lived within 20 miles of each other. So often when my family gets together I just want to shoot candids; no posed, group shots for me. But you know what? This photo is completely posed; I'm still bearing 20 lbs. extra from the birth of my daughter 2 weeks before, it's certainly not the best photo in the world. So I guess my point is that while I prefer candids, sometimes you just need to smoosh together and say 'cheese'.
